Money unites, money divides, the 22-23 November 2013 conference in Frankfurt am Main

MPOV team members A. Zapolska and A. Bursche took part in “Geld eint, Geld trennt 1: Ikonographie und Ideologie überregionaler Währungen” conference held 22-23 November 2013 at the Roman-Germanic Commission of the German Archaeological Institute (RGK DAI) within the Forschungscluster 6: “Connecting Cultures” of the German Archaeological Institute. The conference was attended also by researchers from Germany, United Kingdom, Greece, Sweden and Israel. A. Bursche presented a paper on the origins of gold coinage in the Germanic environment.
