Opening of the exhibition "Treasures from Suchań"

13 November 2014 was the grand opening by the National Museum in Szczecin of the “Treasures of Suchań” exhibition presenting the results of interdisciplinary studies made within the Migration Period between Odra and Vistula project. Opening speeches were given by Lech Karwowski, Director of NMS, dr Bartłomiej Rogalski, Exhibition Curator, and Professor Aleksander Bursche. The highlight of the display of the Palaeolithic-to-Middle Ages archaeology of the region was the Migration Period deposit of Scandinavian gold. The exhibition is accompanied by an Exhibition Catalogue in Polish and English edited by Krzysztof Kowalski and Aleksander Bursche, multimedia and promotional materials. The exhibition will run until 30 March 2015.
